A new children’s show is seeking a pair of enthusiastic young actors to play the title characters, plus many other roles.
Casting is underway for “Malika and Malachi,” a children’s program revolved around teaching children basic math, vocabulary, history, and health.
The program is seeking a young black female actor and a young black male actor to portray the very outspoken and intelligent Malika and the very smart and science wise Malachi, respectively. Talent, aged 9–18, around 5’5”–5’6” and 130–140 lbs are wanted, and both actors must also have the ability to dance.
There are also multiple roles available for talent, aged 7–70, including a lead grandmother role, classroom extras, and several supporting characters.
There is an audition by appointment for all roles on Jan. 14 in New York City.
Rehearsals and production will begin on dates TBD. Auditions will be unpaid, but all booked roles will be compensated.
