Make your dreams a reality by playing a lead role in the upcoming, “Drop the Beat,” a coming-of-age dance drama.
The film will follow four Japanese girls who come to New York City to pursue their dance dreams.
Four Japanese female actors, aged 18–26, are wanted to play the lead roles of Shoko, Tiko, Miko, and Sharky.
There are two supporting roles for a female actor, aged 25–30, and a trans male actor, aged 18–28, as well as background roles, including ensemble dancers, for talent, aged 10 and older.
There will be an open casting call on July 26 in New York City. Principal actors will be paid $150 per day and background dancers will be paid a $250 stipend as part of a mentorship-internship program. Meals and transportation will be provided for all.
